'maverick' and 'nucular' - repeat after me.

i lost track of how many times sarah palin used the word MAVERICK. we laughed everytime we heard it. i considered playing the drinking game where you take a drink everytime she said THAT tacky word. but then knew i'd be drunk and am not sure i should even drink since my stomach hasn't fully healed.

in all honesty, watching and hearing her made me want to drink. but i didnt and i couldnt because i have still been sick. i havent recovered fully from the IBS related ER visit and my stomach is still crampy everyday and blocked. i don't really know what is wrong. i am still sick and it is now two wks later.

palin was beyond annoying- her attitude, the way she rudely cut off the moderator to say that she would choose whether or not she wanted to answer a question and provide answers to whatever she wanted to share. she seemed to take complete control of the floor and do as she liked. it was completely disrespectful. she came off as flippant, defiant, snooty, and then would go off on tangents that lost me and had nothing to do with the question or topic at hand.

i have never felt that she is qualified to stand in the position of vice president of the united states let alone run for government, but after tonite, it is even MORE abundantly clear that she does not belong in any higher government position. most especially vice president.

she continually made smart condescending sarcastic remarks, smirked, winked at the crowd, and cut down joe biden. her attempt at wit and humor was nothing more than an attempt to undermine her opponent and failed miserably. it was neither funny or effective. you could feel that she was constantly trying her best to take small shots and upstage him during the debate.
half of what she proclaimed about obama was completely UNTRUE. i never understand why these people who probably have assistants and advisors who can get them anything they need to prepare for these speeches/debates, i do not understand why the hell palin doesn't do her research before stating a supposed fact that is obviously fictional + a lie.? hmm.

whatever the case, palin continued to show us how disconnected/out of touch she is with government policies and the average middle class american. she definitely does NOT represent the average american OR the average middle class person. yet she seemed to insinuate that she was equal to middle class. i don't think so.

i am still unconvinced that this woman has any intelligence or brain as she comes across as nothing more than an airhead or someone with something severely lacking. i felt her act was a show- a show for the world - fake, planned, scripted, practiced, coached--- a show to pull in the dummies and manipulate the voters to be swayed towards the palin/mccain ...oh i mean, mccain/palin ticket. sometimes i forget who's running as palin acts as though she is up for the president role rather than the VP. ha!

palin did mention she planned to change the role of VP and give herself more power if she were to get into office. how convenient for her. this is a very unsettling and disconcerting/scary thought. i sure as hell don't want a woman with such limited and close minded views running my life or heading our country! not to mention she is completely a female version of bush, completely clueless. how can anyone running for a government position as high as this, be so dumb? i don't get it!!

she keeps using the concept that i believe was obama's original campaign idea- he was using the 'change' motto, the entire 'change' theme way before Palin even entered the picture, way back in May. i know this because i watched debates in april and may with my fiance and because my fiance attended obama's rally which was filled with posters using the change theme [change we can believe in...etc] and that was this past spring. we didn't even know palin existed at that time. neither palin nor mccain have their own minds. that is why they are unable to come up with any thing original and have to steal others ideas.

she tackled the issue of climate control when asked if she believed in it by acknowledging it yet she refused to discuss the cause of it and was reluctant to attribute the problem as fully man-made. this points to the fact that she is not only ignorant but blind to the fact that in order to fix something one must tackle the origin and root of the problem. that's problem solving 101. and i find the whole notion of palin and mccain's suggested health care plan where each family gets a 5 thousand dollar credit towards health insurance to be ridiculous and unrealistic. does anyone realize how much doctors, hospitals, and medication cost these days? let's face it, this is nothing more than a gimmick to reel people in to vote for them. i guarantee you there are hidden fees and costs underneath it all that do not make it worthwhile and that would render the plan as useless for most.

[i constantly think of and flash back to one of my favorite satirical comedies 'election' during all of this. tracy flick and all the quirky characters trying to get elected and trying to sabatoge their competitors.]

sarah palin was beyond strange tonite during this widely anticipated and advertised debate ---in an Agitating - Grate on your NERVES- makes you want to SCREAM- kinda way.
